District Commanders, Planning Committee Chairmen -good evening. I hope you are all having a happy holiday season. I know you are all busy, but hopefully things have calmed down a little and that you now have time to take the Merit Mark survey and pass it on to those in your district that have experience with preparing and submitting Merit Mark recommendations.
As stated below -the deadline is 19 January. We have had good response, but we (Planning Committee) know that there are many more individuals that could complete the survey. If you experience difficulties or have questions regarding this survey, please do not hesitate to ask.
May you all have a Happy, Healthy New Year.

Our national Board of Directors has asked the USPS Planning Committee to survey our district and squadron commanders, merit marks chairs and our Area Monitors to determine what improvements if any might be made in our current system of processing and awarding merit marks. In response, the Planning Committee has created a Survey Monkey survey to determine these members' opinions of the merit mark process. A direct link to the survey appears below. Please complete the online survey and forward this message to your squadron commanders, asking that they and their merit mark chairs also complete the survey. The last day to participate in the survey is 15 January, 2009.
