Ray just called.  We are very happy to report SSB-5145 has passed out of the

Rules Committee and it is in the hopper for bills to be voted on the House 
Floor.  This should be within the next week.

Thank you everybody who made an effort to contact their State
Representatives 
on the Rules Committee. Special thanks to our Lobbying Team, -and Michael 
Campbell, Viggo Bertelsen and everybody in the 5th District.  It was Rep.
Glenn 
Anderson who pulled the bill.  After the meeting we thanked Rep. Anderson on

behalf of WAMBE, but if he is your Representative, you can thank him too.

Rep. Anderson told us we can expect some opposition to the bill on the
floor, 
but we are optimistic we have the votes get it passed.  

Now is the time for a reminder to any other House Reps yet to be contacted
to 
vote for SSB-5145. All House Reps will be voting.  You have two House Reps.

If you have not contacted either of your Reps recently, you can send them a 
note or just this quick phone message:  Please vote for SSB-5145, the Boater

Safety Education Bill.
