Hi everyone:

Here's a great opportunity for USPS members to get free admission to the
New England Boat Show (a $9.00 value) on Monday, Feb 17, 2003
(Presidents Day) as well as let the public know more about our Boating
safety programs and the benefits of joining the Power Squadron.

D18 has been assigned responsibility to staff the USPS Booth from 11AM
to 8 PM on Presidents Day. If you are interested in volunteering, let
me know via email or call me at 781-631-2417. I need your name,
telephone number, email address and what time periods during the day you
would be available for. First come first served, so don't put this off.
I will be submitting the list of names no later than January 29. Please
be sure the word is passed to other members of your squadron.

I am hoping that we will get enough volunteers so that most members
will only have to be on "duty" for 2 hours and can spend the remaining
time enjoying the show. (Note: Admission is free, but transportation
and parking are your responsibility.)

If you are interested in doing "Booth Duty", but won't be available on
the 17th, please contact me. (The New England Boat Show runs from Feb
15 to 23. Hours are Saturdays 11-9, Sunday 11-7, Tue-Fri 1-9, closing
Sunday 11-6:30. For more info go to http://www.naexpo.com/boatshow/ )
