Hi Linda,

While Newport is a "draw" it is also well out of D12 or D18's area. I submit
that our conferences are designed to get PARTICIPATION of members. Our most
recent 4 District endeavor could have "drawn" over 3000 considering the
membership of the 4 Districts. But we only had about 150... Did we run out
of places of "draw" to go to in Boston? or Essex County? If this were a 4
District meeting and within the 4 Districts then I would be in favor....
For the two Districts, I submit that we should meet in the area covered by
at least one of the Districts if not an overlap area that "draws" members
for both Districts. How about another trip to the Constitution: it has been
over 10 years.
