Please plan for your squadron to have a great time at historic Natchitoches LA 9-11 Jun 06. Your efforts will help D21 Continue to be #1 in Cooperative Charting while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow USPS members.
The Lake Charles Power Squadron will host a D21 Geodetic charting event 9-11 June 200. Holiday Inn Express will be headquarters, 5131 Hwy 6 (I-49 exit 138) Phone 318-354-9911. Call 888-465-4329 for reservations and be sure to identify yourself with US Power Squadrons for the rate of $65.00 plus tax. Check in Friday and get your geodetic assignments at the hospitality suite and as usual, dinner is on your own Friday night. Saturday the Inn has breakfast included with rooms, then go do the Geodetic search and come back to the hospitality room and enter your results. There will be the usual group dinner that evening with individual checks. There are many sight seeing opportunities in this part of LA. D/Lt Chris Nelsen, as extra duty while serving in Iraq, and Chuck Lemoine are preparing quad search booklets with PID sheets that will be handed out at the hospitality suite to help you complete an organized search.
