Subject: [Psml] New York Hotel Rooms

Good news and bad news. First to good.

We have exceeded our room block on most days in New York so don't have a
problem with not meeting that critical room block number - would cost a
lot if we didn't.

The Bad news is that once we exceed our guarantee room block the hotel
can stop supplying rooms at the contract rate even though our cut off
date is some time away. They have not done so as of today, but have
said they don't know how long they can hold the $169 rate. Since they
can fill the hotel most nights and get a lot more than $169 per night,
they will want to raise our rate sometime.

What to do - make your reservations now. If you have a problem, send me
an email at hyoas@flash.net. I will see what can be done. Also,
forward this to anyone that may attending from your Squadron or District
so they can make reservations now.
