Re:    2008 Incoming Officers Meeting
Attached is the meeting information, registration material, and hotel
information for the D/21 2008 Incoming Officers Meeting. Many of you
have already received hard copies of these documents in the mail (if you
are a current officer, incoming officer, P/D/C, District Bridge, or
incoming D/21 Aide.)  Incoming officer information has been received
from a few squadrons or published in a few newsletters, but is by no
means complete.  If you haven't received a hard copy, it is only because
I don't know you are incoming!!!  You are definitely invited.  This
information should also be available on the D/21 website shortly (Kay's
had some internet issues).

Who should attend this meeting?

Incoming Commanders, all Squadron Officers, Committee Chairs, &     

     Assistants 

District Bridge, District Committee Chairs & Members

Past District Commanders

Any Other Interested Members

-       even if already serving in the position...

-       especially if you haven't been to a meeting in a while...

Current Commanders - why did you receive invitations?  

1) Hopefully you will attend and participate in the afternoon Town Hall
Meeting and open question session - you can pass on your experiences and
help those who follow (you know, been there, done that)!  Join the
incoming Chief Commander and help your next bridge to a successful year.

2) We don't have all incoming officer and committee chair information -
please pass on to interested squadron members.

Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake

    Thank you for your time, efforts, and willingness to participate &
serve.

    Our membership in USPS is a privilege with certain obligations.

    The Incoming Officers' Meeting is a workshop where Commanders,
Officers, 

      Committee Chairs, Assistants, & Members learn about the
obligations &

       responsibilities requisite with our leadership positions and
membership.

    The District Bridge, Committee Chairs, & Past District Commanders -
including

     the incoming Chief Commander -  will be present to answer questions
and convey  

     information.

     Workshop includes presentations, breakout sessions, & roundtable
discussions.

     Workshop schedule will be fast-paced, facilitated, & unlike any
agenda 

 heretofore experienced.

     Meeting includes fun social activities, networking opportunities, a
chance to drink 

     Champagne (or other libations of your choice), & eat much good
food.

     Registration form, hotel information & preliminary agenda enclosed.

     Attendance & participation at this meeting will guarantee a great
2008-2009 watch

     for all of us!
