I've attached a spreadsheet (work in progress) compiling all the
information I have to date on Hurricane Ike's impact on D21. It is
organized by squadron, then alphabetically by last name. Yellow
highlighting indicates information. I would appreciate any additional
information anyone has to add and will continue to update. I have taken
the liberty of removing Austin, Dallas, all but two Fort Worth members,
Ouachita, San Antonio, and Shreveport, + spouse members, to keep the
spreadsheet smaller. We can add spouses back in if they have only
working emails in the family. However, if there is any impact to
deleted squadron members, please let me know and I'll add back in. Also
- if your members had damage during Gustav and Dolly, could you please
provide input. We need to see the entire impact of this season on our
district.

So far 2 "second" homes are completely gone and one nearly so on
Galveston Island and Boliver Peninsula (now multiple islands); at least
8 members are out of their homes due to flood/surge damage; at least
seven boats sunk/high & dry/missing; 9 boats lesser/minor damage.

We will need to get on the phone I think to find out about Beaumont &
Orange members - if the phones are working - unless this gets through to
Susan or Wiley.

The pups and I are now back in Houston, with apparently all services
running, with the exception of the stoplights in my area - a scary thing
in Houston. I will continue to provide information for the district as
it is received. Shortly I will convene an E-Council Meeting to discuss
where we go from here regarding district business. Those not
"contactable" by email will be called. I appreciate in advance your
support in "keeping us legal."

Members in D21 have a lot to offer physically, emotionally, and
financially. We are family. We just need to know what the needs are
where. Please contact me regarding these issues and we'll work to make
things better.

Please forward as you think appropriate.
