[D28] October 12/13 Fall conference Raffle

Hello Friends,

One of the important items of the agenda of the Fall conference is the
Raffle, source of important revenue to San Luis Rey programs. And there will
be lots of prizes!

Mike Mckenna, SLR XO in charge of the Raffle, did a wonderful job getting an
outstanding list of items worth more than $700.00. The items were donated by
members and friends, Oceanside Marine Center, and West Marine among others.
The items to be raffled include GPS, handheld VHF, two 10X50 Binoculars,
magnetic and electronic digital Compass, two $50 Gift Certificates, and many
more. Complete details are given in the attachment.

We will be starting selling the tickets at the Hospitality event, Rooms 306A
and 308A, Friday evening, and also Saturday. The cost:

1 ticket =$1, 6 tickets= $5, 12 tickets= $10, 25 tickets = $20. The raffle
will be held Saturday night, at the end of the evening banquet. You do not
have to be present to participate.

 So... I am looking forward meeting you all tomorrow evening at the
Hospitality and Saturday at the Conference and selling many raffle tickets
to help with San Luis Rey programs.
