[D28] Fall Conference Agenda and More

Below is the Agenda for the D28 Fall Conference to be held at the Olympic
Resort Hotel and Spa in Carlsbad, CA.  Additional details are on the
District web site at http://www.usps.org/localusps/d28/d28memberinfo. 

 

We have a very interesting and entertaining guest speaker for our morning
program, Mr. Ray Tsuneyoshi from the California Department of Boating and
Waterways.  

 

Dress code will be as follows:

Friday night: Casual

Saturday Business Meeting: Bridge Uniform G

Saturday Evening Banquet: Bridge Uniform A with Bow Tie

Other Conference members and guests are encouraged to dress similarly.

 

There will also be spousal (male and female) events on Saturday.   The
morning event will meet at 8:30 AM in the hotel lobby and go to the Carlsbad
Gemology Institute.  The group will return to the hotel for lunch with those
from the Conference.  The afternoon event will meet at 2:00 in the hotel
lobby and go to the Carlsbad Outlet stores.  Car pools will be available for
the morning and afternoon events.  The chairperson is Diane Ness (H)

We are a few people short of our guarantee for the banquet.  Please send
your reservations to Van as soon as possible.

 

There will be NO CoOp charting event.

 

If your schedule doesn't allow you to make the Saturday meeting, please come
by the Hospitality Room Friday night and say hello.  San Luis Rey is hosting
the room and it should be a fun time!
