I have been informed that the registration link that I provided didn't
work. I found that while putting it together a "period" and "in" attached
themselves to the link and scuttled the function. The link has been
repaired.
A request for the agenda has also been received and the posting of the
agenda on the website is in progress. An announcement should be
forth-coming to let you know where to find that information.

District 28 members,
The Phoenix Sail & Power Squadron had announced about hosting the 2008
District 28 Spring Conference in Phoenix, AZ. Where better than at an
educational based facility named the Thunderbird Executive Inn and
Conference Center. Located on a converted World War II Air Corp Training
base in Glendale AZ (northwest of Phoenix), the hotel & conference center
have new rooms and conference facilities the rival any available. The date
is set, March 7 – 9th 2008, activities are planned, the welcome mat will be
rolled out for you to join the District for a wonderful weekend of
hospitality, information, thanking the outgoing District Commander for
service well done and welcoming of your new incoming District Commander at
the Change of Watch Dinner. Our National USPS Representative will be the
Immediate Past Chief Commander Ernie Marshburn and his lovely bride, Dianne.
The weekend starts with the welcoming hospitality evening at a close
location (rides available on request), then on Saturday, the spousal event
is a trip to the Horse Track for dinner and racing, the conference will be
held during the day with an open luncheon available on-site, and finally, a
cash bar prior to dinner and the Change of Watch in the evening. Prizes are
available for the price of a raffle ticket. Need not be present to win.
Prizes include a beautiful hand stitched quilt wall hanging and many others.

The 2008 Spring Conference activities registration is available on the

formats
The PDF format is for you to print, fill out and mail in. The Excel format
is for those that like the computer to do the math. Open it and fill it
out. Use the tab key to move to the various sections of the form. When
complete print it and mail it in. Don't forget to include your check with
whichever form you use.
