  2008 District 28 Summer Council
  Call to Meeting
   
   
  To the:         District 28 Bridge Officers
                     Past District Commanders
                      Chairmen, General Committees 
                     Chairman, Planning Committee
                      Squadron Commanders
                     All Other Interested Parties
   
  By order of the District Commander, notice is hereby given that the Summer Council will be held at the following time and place.
   
            Date:           Saturday, 7 June 2008, at 0900
            Place:                   Chula Vista Yacht Club, Chula Vista, CA
                               642 Marina Parkway, Chula Vista, CA 91910
            Purpose:     To carry on the interim business of District 28, USPS;
                               To establish committees and make appointments thereto;
                               To fill any vacancy in any elective office, to hold office until the
                                 next Spring Conference; 
                               To make and approve interim changes in the 2008-2009 Budget;
                               To consider resolutions and recommendations from the Squadrons
                                and refer them to the Conference for action or to refer them to                               committee for further study; and
                               To conduct all other business of the District which may properly                                        come before the Council.
