To all D31 members who are considering attending the Spring Conference in
Ft. Smith, here are a few items that may be of interest. Pegy and I visited
Ft. Smith on January 30 and went to the Aspen Hotel and Suites. It is a very
nice facility with lots of capacity for our meeting. Here are a few non
listed points of interest

The hotel is pet friendly, so if you have a pet that travels with you they
may stay, it's the unruly owners that may be a problem

For those who wish to travel by motor home there is parking available across
the street ( a side street with not too much traffic). You will have to
dry camp as there are no services available. I will be putting a small map on
the D31 website showing the location of this parking lot.

The Light House restaurant looks quite nice. It is about a ten mile drive
from the hotel but easily managed. Lots of parking.

Hope to see all of you there, should be a great conference with several
interesting presentations about boating subjects.
