Many of you are using the new DB2000 software to send BDU rosters to HQ
but haven't installed the MQSeries client, which is perfectly OK.
Under those conditions, DB2000 defaults to sending your roster updates
by email. However, many of you have failed to use the authorization
dialog to enter your proper password. Remember that the passwords
changed back in May.
In the absence of MQSeries, DB2000 is unable to determine whether your
password is valid and so just sends it as part of the updated records.
When it gets to the mainframe, the password is found to be incorrect,
and the associated updates are simply discarded.
If there is any question in your mind, you may want to discuss with your
Cdr. or with HQ whether you have the proper/current password and save
yourself a lot of unnecessary work.
