[DB2000] Requirement for contact positions on OD1/OD2 forms

Recently, changes were made to the OD1 and OD2 form to require the
identification of a member in each district and squadron serving as a roster
contact, an IT contact (normally the webmaster), and a public contact
(squadrons only).
We have discovered that forms are being submitted without these positions
filled in and have traced it back to the use of last year's forms which did
not include these positions.
Normally, when these positions are unfilled, the associated district or
squadron web site is marked as not being in compliance, and any links to the
site are removed. However, because of the large number of missing/erroneous
submissions for these positions, we have decided not to remove the prior
holders of these positions until 31 March 2009.

So what does a district or squadron need to do?

If you have not yet submitted your OD1 or OD2 form please insure that you
are using the latest version. These changes are incorporated in DB2000
release 9.3.1. They are also available as PDF files directly from the main
page of the USPS web site under the What's New heading.

If you have already submitted your OD1 or OD2 form and it did not contain
these positions, please obtain a current form and resubmit it for these 2-3
positions. As an alternative, you can use DB2000 to submit these positions.
It is not necessary to resubmit the entire form.

Thank you.
