Bradley) Date: Mon, 28 Jan 2008 15:20:51 -0500 Subject: [DB2000] Error in New DB2000 that only affects BDU Updates Message-ID: <01ac01c861eb$47342e30$ca01a8c0@JRB> I am sorry to report that the recently released version of DB2000 exposed a bug that prevents roster updates from being sent to HQ. This error will only affect those of you that have the UPDATER or MASTER password, and who currently have either release 8.0.0 or 8.0.1 installed. If this does not apply to you then please ignore this message. If this does apply to you, do the following: Use the DB2000 Help menu > Online Help and select DB2000 Updates. This will open your browser. When the browser presents the DB2000 Information Index page, click on the Downloads link to get to the Downloads page. Scroll all the way down to the bottom to the Diagnostic link. Right click on this link and select "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." depending on your browser. This will open a Save dialog which allows you to navigate to where you want to save the download of DB2000V3R803.zip file. When you save it, remember where you saved it. When the Download is completed, close your browser, and close DB2000. Locate and open the previously downloaded DB2000V3R803.zip file and extract the version of DB2000V3.EXE contained within to the \Program Files\DB2000V3 folder replacing the old version with the new. This new version is release 8.0.3. If you feel that these instructions are too complicated, you can always download and install the latest full installation file. Again, sorry for the trouble.
