Jim,

Put me down for two people for the cruise. Sue and I should be home by then. I am coming back from this cruise with lots of good ideas of cruises the squadron can take next year. We are in the North channel at Killarney and leave for Little Current today for yet another round of boat repairs.

Cheers,
Ski

  Subject: [Dupage] September Boating Activity

  Folks,

I have been trying to plan a river cruise for the September boating activity on Saturday 15 September. After many failures and a bit of rudeness from an employee, I finally was able to talk to the appropriate person at Mercury Skyline Cruiseline. They do not give discounts or take reservations for Saturday cruises because it is their busiest day. The normal price is $20.00 per person. However, the person I finally talked to apologized for the rudeness and many unreturned phone calls. As a gesture of good will, she offered to give us a $5.00 per person discount if we have a group of 15 or more . That is $15.00 per person, a real bargain! Also, if we take the 10:00 am (1000 hours) cruise, she will take reservations. I have prepared the attached flyer with the information. Sorry that I could not get this in time for the August Pilot. I need to know ASAP if there is enough interest to proceed. Please let me know if you can commit to the cruise and the number attending.

Also, I would appreciate suggestions for a restaurant for lunch.

  Your AO
  Jim Rielinger
