Folks,

I have not received any response to my previous email. ARE WE GOING TO
LET THE OTHER SQUADRONS SHOW US UP? As I said in the previous email, I
have removed Bill Nicholson as a contact. His plate is overflowing
already. Howie Moore has graciously agreed to replace him. We need to
know ASAP if you are going, bringing a boat, need a ride, or already
have a ride. Please contact or email Howie or me.
More information on the Chain-O-Lakes boating permit. If you stay
overnight, you will need a permit for each day ($20 ugh) or there is a
10 day permit for $30. I have talked to over 10 marinas. I have 2
more to talk to. I will email the list ASAP and include it in the
flyer.
And now for the commercial. My knee replacement surgery is scheduled
for 31 May. So I will be pretty busy until then. Also, it is unlikely
that I will be able to attend the cruise. I am looking for someone to
replace me in making the final arrangements. I will have obtained all
of the information on marinas. I have an Excel spread sheet of the Fox
Valley and Dupage Squadron attendees so far. The schedule will be
finalized with the Chain-O-Lakes Squadron. I
have contacts with Chain-O-Lakes, Fox Valley,
and Chicago Squadrons. I will make up the flyer for the June Pilot.
Hopefully, there is not much more to be done, collect the information
on attendees, decide if beverages will be supplied, and determine a per
person charge for beverages. Please let me know if you can help.
