Hi Membership Friends,
I am in need of some staff to accomplish a few projects. Any suggestions from in or
outside of the Membership Committee would be great. Please send this out to your
districts, squadrons,etc. Many of these assignments can be done by local squadron
members interested in seeing our membership grow.
1) Crew Page Editor - The Ensign - Job entails organizing puzzles, articles, etc. for
publishing in The Ensign. Computer skills are a help but creative enthusiasm to see
the job done is most important. Monthly assignment
2) Marketing Editor to write and develop children and youth-oriented PSA's. We have
an opportunity and need someone with some imagination to work with a professional to
see this job done.
3) Professional writer - grant writer - I need someone with good writing skills that
we will guide to apply for funds. Become part of the Membership Grant Team and
secure valuable dollars for Membership efforts.
4) Assistant Boy Scout Liaison - Work with Jim Dansfield and the Boy Scout Liaison
Team. Respond to squadron members questions and provide guidance and advice on
working with a Boy Scout Troop.
5) Statistician - Maintain Sea Scout/Boy Scout EXCEL file. I need a member who will
actively find out what squadrons are working with the Sea Scouts/Boys Scouts. Need
to set up and maintain EXCEL file with name of squadron, Ship/Troop number, contact
name, email address, number of youths involved. Can be done on line.
Please contact me, Bruce Troth or Bonnie Brown-Murphy. We can teach you how to do
the job, if you have the time, talent and interest.
