A fall thur the crack has appeared in USPS renewal of "apprentices."
Because bylaws only require payment of national dues, apprentices do not show
up on squadron renewal transmittal documents. Unless the district is on HQAB
then apprentices do show on the status reports. Currently there is only 3
districts on HQAB. This is the solution for the future. However for
now......................
I checked DB2000 database for my district, D16, and apprentices are listed
there. So, squadrons can use this data source to follow up with apprentices in
their squadrons.
Please be aware of this issue. Pass along the Db2000 thougth and let folks
know the committee is aware of this issue and working towards a solution.
One more issue, remember, "reinstatement fees" have been repeeled and are no
longer billed or charged to renew.
