IMPORTANT NOTICE
PLEASE READ AND RESPOND
Membership in USPS continues it's decline. Even though the decline is not as
bad as it has been in the last couple of years, it's still in decline, death
of USPS as we know it is still assured it membership does not turn around.
During the closed meeting of the membership committee, NEO Spencer Anderson
addressed the group in attendance. I was both surprised and pleased to hear
from the top manager of our Education Department of USPS, he favors eliminating
the educational requirement to membership in USPS. This is a first. And it
affirms how serious the membership decline is being treated by the lead educator
of our organization.
I don't see this being voted on in the immediate future, but then again who
knows, all it takes is a district resolution. If any of your districts are so
inclined inform them to move a resolution forward to a future GB.
For now, I want your opinion and thoughts. For the record, I have favored
this for a long time. Fewer and fewer members, and fewer and fewer members are
taking our courses, both of these conditions have a serious negative impact on
our revenue / our future.

important issue,
