FYI Everyone,
Today, Tuesday 11 October 05, the new online membership manual is being
announced.
It can be accessed at:
www.usps.org/national/membership/memcommanual.htm
The manual is linked on 3 sites, Membership Committee Home Page, Recruiting
Home Page, and the Retention Home Page.
The idea is to have members access it via the web, download, print or CD ROM
it for other members. It is divided up to allow as short as download times as
possible via dial up connections (this is what I use so I used the time based
on this type of connection).
HQ can and will support requests but we hope this will not be necessary.
This document is a "living" document and can be changed, updated, and added
to at any time. As things change it will be updated accordingly.
I want to thank Lee Myers for her guidance on merging 5 manuals into one, no
easy job, and recognize the hard work of committee Stf/Cs' Dougherty, Rea, and
P/Stf/C Teatero. Well done everyone, the final product is terrific.
