<<Safe Boating Event schedule only.doc>>
Thank you for joining Lake Pleasant Regional Park's Fourth Annual Safe Boating Celebration on Saturday, May 19th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. This year's event promises to be one of the best yet. Please do not forget to wear your sunscreen, hat and bring plenty of water.
I've attached a schedule of events for your convenience. Please note that there may be last minute adjustments to the actual schedule on event day. Below you will find directions to the park and a few final arrival instructions that should help things run smoothly upon your arrival:
Directions to the park: From central Phoenix, take I-17 north to Carefree Highway (SR 74) exit. Travel west for 15 miles to Castle Hot Spring Road (at mile post 19). Turn right, and travel north for three miles to the park entrance on your right.
Arrival Instructions
                * We recommend that you arrive at the entry station no later than 7:15 am to avoid line delays. Plan to arrive early enough to set up your shade canopy and place items in your display booth or area, as your group should be set up and ready to go promptly at 8:00 am. If your group must leave before 1:00 pm, please let me know as quickly as possible.
                * Please give the entry station attendant the name of your group and you will receive a vehicle pass to enter the park. Only groups that are providing water demonstrations will be allowed to bring their watercraft into the park without a fee. Groups that are not providing water demonstrations remain subject to the $2.00 per watercraft entry fee.
                * Proceed into the park and make the first right at South Park Road. Continue for 1.5 miles to Waterline Way and turn left. The event area is located in the parking lot on your right.
                * There, you will be shown exactly where to set up.

We appreciate the time you are taking from your busy Saturday to help make this event successful. Please note that we have listed your group on the park website and logo (if available) on the http://www.azsafeboating.org/ website as our way of thanking you for your participation. It is our hope that your organization will achieve increased visibility from this event. Good luck and we hope to work with you again next year.
Please feel free to forward this email to your volunteers. If you have any questions, feel free to email or call me.
