[Povertybay] Washington State Boater Education Card

Happy New Year Pirates,

 
By the time you read this you should have received your letter from
Washington State Parks Boating Programs stating that you have been certified
as having successfully completed a state required boating safety course. The
letter included an application form for you to fill out and submit (with
your $10) to State Parks to receive your Washington State Boater Education
Card. This letter was part of the agreement between D16 and State Parks to
expedite the cards for our qualified members. You do not have to provide
proof of completing a requisite course because we have already certified
that you have done so.
 
I encourage everyone to get their cards for the new year. This is another
way for us to set the example for other boaters and for potential new
members. Thanks.
