Thank you, Darrell, for the announcement regarding the tragic loss of an  
outstanding Power Squadron leader.  Ruth and I send our heartfelt  sympathies to 
Marla and the family.
 
John Brown was a leader's role model...he was a man's man, easy to  like, and 
he inspired confidence with his no-nonsense approach to Power Squadron  
affairs. His loss for Marla and the rest of us came much too soon, and we, along  
with other Tom-Cods and friends, grieve with her during this tough time.
