[Psml] 2nd National Safe Boating Test DVD

Hi,

I just keep these on my table and folks are taking them home and then to
pass on to others. I haven't even let any go to other members, let alone
marinas.

I was curious at what the cost per was. I do a fair bit of video editing
for local cable and DVD production and have some ideas as to how these
things go.

If we could keep the costs down and half refundable through Co Op Ad
program a Squad like us could probably see some interest. If we included a,
"Made possible by (your local) marina" sticker, some may help defray
expenses or maybe another grant; then we could really give them away.

Re: The national news clip: I viewed it on Utube and due to my internet
computer audio drivers malfunction could not hear the audio. My impression
was that it was a USCG video. There were a lot of uniforms, also no USPS
logo. This was just my impression and am not sure if that was your intent. I
do applaud the effort.

Then,

John

John, Check with USPS Head Quarters. This was a limited production run.
There may be some left. Bob Green produced this program. He may have some
ideas that will be of interest. I havw added him to this post Thanks..

Hi,

These 2nd National Safe Boating Test DVDs are great, thank you. How can I
get more?

I don't find them on the website. For a Squadron to be able to hand these
out with VSC and other public interactions, would be perfect, and fit into
the Co Op Ad Program. They say USPS all over them! One critique: The photos
on the front don't seem engaging, i.e. the face in lower right is too dark.
