P/C Jim Bollas, SN, Commander of Akron Power Squadron in 1968, passed away July 20.  He was 92.  

Jim was a life member and a 50-year member of USPS.  Services are at at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., Akron.  Jim and his wife, Joan (deceased), also lived in Cape Coral, Florida for a number of years.  I believe he was a member of the local squadron there.  Jim's son, Alex, is a member of Akron Power Squadron.
