[Psml] Maptech and Windows Vista Compatability

Hi Jonathan,

 

Here is what I believe will fix the problem.  Maptech is aware of the impact
and indicated we should try this update.  If that does not work, please let
me know as I am in regular contact with them and I will keep you posted.

 

Maptech has a newer version of the Chart Navigator software which can be
downloaded from their web site.  Go to "Support", then "Marine Software",
then Offshore

OKEN=97196652>  Navigator (& Lite) & Chart Navigator (Viewer) ,  then Chart
Navigator Viewer and then free download here.  Select the top file which is
version 5.08 dated 02/21/07.

Greetings, fellow Power Squadron members:
I am attempting to self-study Piloting.  So far, so good; however, my new
laptop is run with Windows Vista, which is evidently incompatible with the
Maptech software which came with the Weekend Navigator book.  Any
suggestions out there to help fix this?  My thanks in advance!
