HELLO - I am a member of the Charleston Squadron and we are looking to put
our hands on a copy of the old First Mate Text.  I checked HQ and it is out
of print and the Skipper Saver text is out there some.  We are looking to
put together something here locally to entice more women to become more
active boaters.  I hold a USCG 100t Master's License and captain a 50 ft
Marine Trader and have been asked to put together some sort of syllabus for
a class.  We want to take it a little further than just getting the boat
home.  Could you put an email out to the education officers in other
squadrons to see if anyone has one of these texts?
