This sounds like a great idea - a way to keep the P/C's involved and draw
upon their experience. Has anyone else tried it? How has it worked out? What are
the pitfalls, and how have you overcome them?
Thanks.

Robert,

Found the following text on the Annapolis Squadron web site
http://www.aspsmd.org/photos2.htm

Embedded within the Squadron is the Silver Trident Society, an informal
group of Past Commanders who meet quarterly to provide the Squadron with a
Board of Advisors and to assist with Special Projects to advance the mission
of Boating Safety through Boater Education. P/C John Gainer, right, has been
the leader of the Silver Tridents since its formation three years ago.

Good luck.

Dave

I am trying to locate a brief description regarding the Silver Trident
Association. We have one here in the Peace River Squadron and we list the
officers in our membership directory and I would like to include a
description about who they are, their purpose, ect so our general membership
will know more about the organization
