Galveston Bay Squadron in District 21 has had what we call "Council of Past Commanders" for about 5 years.  We were active at first and met once a quarter, it has been very low key as of late.

  group of Past Commanders who meet quarterly to provide the Squadron with a
  Board of Advisors and to assist with Special Projects to advance the mission
  of Boating Safety through Boater Education. P/C John Gainer, right, has been
  the leader of the Silver Tridents since its formation three years ago.

  I am trying to locate a brief description regarding the Silver Trident
  Association.  We have one here in the Peace River Squadron and we list the
  officers in our membership directory and I would like to include a
  description about who they are, their purpose, ect so our general membership
  will know more about the organization
