[Psml] "What We Do" Brochure

MS Publisher (.pub) is part of the complete version of MS Office, or can
be purchased separately. It is an excellent way to prepare newsletters,
brochures, etc. It is easy to use and remarkably friendly. For years we
have regularly prepared our newsletter that way, and convert it to PDF
for email. The conversion is also easy and accurate using the software
available for that purpose, free, on the DB2000 Download page.

Please remember that, on average, 88% of computer users use some version
of Windows. It strikes me that the other 12% should be the ones to
accommodate any differences. I admit that I am quite unfamiliar with the
Mac, but I seem to recall that there is a Mac version of MS Office. If
that is true, one would hope that there is some sort of conversion of
files from the Windows version. I would also assume that there is
software for the Mac which is designed for specially designed for
newsletters, brochures, etc. If not, there should be, and it should open
Publisher files.

I suppose I will be inundated by messages from Mac users wishing to
extol the virtues and superiority of their machines. To avoid that, I am
will to stipulate that it may well be true. My primary point is that the
minority must learn to interact with the majority regarding software and
hardware. Actually, there may well be more similarities than
differences.

Adobe Reader is virtually ubiquitous, and is usually provided with new
computers. As my squadron converts to email of the newsletter, I have
not found even one in 100 who have not been able to open the PDF file.
