Phil and All,
While MS Publisher may be a part of the complete WINDOWS version of
MS Office, it is completely unsupported on the Macintosh (or any
other) operating system.

Believe me we, as Mac, etc. users, are quite accommodating and can
and do usually convert the various and sundry Windows files into
something we can deal with. Opening PDFs is never a problem but
modifying them, as is needed in this case, can sometimes be a grand
hassle. Adobe Reader will not allow major changes to be made, so one
must have either Adobe Acrobat (the original 'creation' program) or
be able to convert the document into a different format (MS Word for
instance). There are programs to do that, but that entails spending
additional money (I do not know of a free program that can do the job
acceptably, but there may be one) and often results in a file that
still needs a lot of work to clean up.

That being said, I have begun the de-construction of the flyer and
will re-create it into, probably, a PDF document with text/image
boxes that can be filled with the end user's own choice of logo,
data, pictures, etc.

But this project will take a back seat to finishing two websites, a
new squadron logo for PR purposes, and a monthly town newspaper (all
volunteer efforts by the way).

Just my take on the situation, I don't wish to get into a Mac vs.
Windows discussion either, that's like the Nikon vs. Canon or Colt
vs. S&W thing ;>)
