[Psml] Election Day suprises 2008

My husband and I went to our polling place to vote this morning. Our first
question was, "Where were all these people in previous years?"  The election
workers informed us that they were extremely busy this morning seeing people
that had never voted before, going so far as having to instruct these people
(even those in their 60's) how to use the old fashion NY voting machines. It
is hard to believe that all our residents do not take their right to vote
seriously.
