Send a personal card to every member and let them know you are glad they are
a member and maybe a memory of when you last saw them or when you had a
great time with them.

 

Instead of a party or  incorporate one, put together a committee to get
Member Benefit coupons together, a copy of your newsletter and a list of
courses and activities coming up and hand deliver them to the members in
your squadron with a pretty ribbon around it.  Add a piece of candy and a
handwritten card/note.  When visiting, ask what they do for fun and see if
you can't figure out something they can do in the squadron.  Contact the
committee chair and have them contact them directly with a "I hear you are
an expert at .".  Invite that person to an upcoming squadron activity.  At
the activity, incorporate some of these ideas.

 

We all know that the personal touch is the way to go as this is the most
impressive.  Just put on your smile, and go out show the members that they
really are very important to USPS.

 

Have an idea?  Reply!  Just think outside the box and make it handwritten
and personal.
