Try these (in no particular order);
Nearest West Marine Store
Nearest USCG Sector, Public Affairs Officer
Boat/US
Your own Squadron members may have youth sizes they no longer use.
Nearby friendly Boat dealer.
Any local merchant who might wish to help fund the purchase (team with
West Marine or a boat dealer?)
I am sure you can add to the list. Think outside the box!

Subject: [Psml] Life Jackets

Our squadron (Lakes) will be starting an association with the local
Boys/Girls Club. We have been given a boat, trailer and outboard motor
(that work) as "teachers aids" Since the Boat Smart book has "expired"
we are using that as a guide as all are too young to qualify for state
approval. (In conclusion of the course we will move them to the ABC3
course). We have 4 instructors that will tag team teach the kids at
their building after school.

Here is where the PMSL comes in: we need to know who to contact at USCG
to obtain about 12 free life jackets to use in this 6 month program.

USPS needs "younger members". Why not approach your local Boys/Girls
Club? Ours fell all over themselves with the possibilities USPS offers.
