USPS Members:
 
A big collective "Thank You" to all of you who sent condolences and  personal 
messages of support and encouragement to me and the  family following Ruth's 
death on 4 January 2009. The outpouring of cards  and mail from hundreds of 
friends in the Power Squadrons and from local  community folks reflects just how 
much Ruth meant to so many good people. 
 
It simply won't be possible for me to thank each of you by mail, so  just 
know that I have read, and have been heartened, by all of your  messages. The 
sympathetic support from each of you has meant so much  to us during these 
difficult days.
