[Psml] Acer Aspire Computers

Hi,

I don't have any actual hands on experience but I know some of the minis do
not use a MS Windows operating system. They use a version of Linux or Unix
instead. Further none of them have a built in CD/DVD drive. I would make
sure they will run PowerPoint before I made the investment. I would also
point out that there are larger laptops for the same price that do use
Windows. If the size is not the determinant.

We are considering the purchase of an acer aspire computer to run power
point for our classes. What experience has anyone had with these new mini
computuers?
HP has a similar unit on the marker. Any comments please'
