[Psml] PSML Digest, Vol 34, Issue 10

It bothers me that what should be an open discussion about the procedures
that are currently in place, is not a discussion but demands and b____ing
about what should not be happening. Perhaps a suggestion on how to work
together in a specific scenario is what is required. There has to be some
fixed time period where National removes a member from the roster for
nonpayment of dues. The National roster would not be anywhere close to
accurate if National relied on the local squadrons to decide when someone is
no longer going to renew. My suggestion would be for IT to add a function to
email the local squadron commander notifying them of the pending removal.
The local squadron could then notify National that they would accept the
charges for the members dues.

We object to taking a persons name off the list as a "nonmember" who is in
fact a member having financial difficulty while arrangements are being made
to get his dues paid. This person is a valuable member of our squadron and
shouldn't be classified as a nonmember by an inpersonnal automatic
computer system.
