One final note on any pyrotechnics (flares) demonstrations. Make sure that
your or equivalent emergency response system operations are aware of the
event. These are the folks who will receive any phone calls from the public.
We conduct an event like this every year or so and have never had a problem
as long as we do all the preparatory coordination.
