John,
According to Ops manual, chapter 16, page 16-4, Para 16.13 The names of area
monitors, assignments and addresses which appear in the USPS Directory of
National, District and Squadron Officers. Click on : USPS Web site:
http://www.usps.org/cgi-bin-nat/tools/jobsd.cgi?C:11200:1 and you will get
a listing. According to this site there are currently 12 area monitors and
one chairman. Note that some Districts have more than one monitor, two in
D-9, two in D25 and two in D27 one of which is the chairman. Listing in
your message is for 2008 year and list 33 monitors and a couple are
duplicate names. Either way that's quite a load for around 450 USPS
Squadrons.
Wonder which list is up to date?
Paul Soucy
