Hello All,
We've asked Dave Hinders to compile a list of meeting abstracts and a
meeting CD for Jacksonville. The abstract list contains a brief
description of each meeting and why a member might want to attend and will
be posted on the web. The CD is a take away that members will take home
and it should contain any powerpoint, video, newsletter, or other handout
that you want members to see. This is a great opportunity to communicate
with our members.
Sadly, very few committees have communicated with Dave. Attached is a
spreadsheet listing the meetings and the content sent to Dave so far.
Please don't miss out on this opportunity. Department heads, please get
with your committees to support Dave's efforts. Below is an earlier
correspondence.
Regards to All,
Robert

Subject: annotated agenda and conference CD
Hello All,
You may remember that, in Phoenix, we asked Dave Hinders to put together
both an annotated agenda and a conference CD for Jacksonville.
In the agenda, we're asking for a paragraph describing each meeting and
why a member would like to attend. Also, since some committees are
converting what used to be closed meetings to open business meetings, Dave
needs to know which "closed" meetings are really closed.
On the CD, Dave can put any handouts, powerpoints, or ads that your
committees would like our members to take home. This could be a real
value to our members. Powerpoints could be redisplayed at squadron and
district meetings and releases can be added for squadron and district
newsletters. OCom members might consider writing an introductory letter
to their sections on the disk.
Please ask your committees to take advantage of this opportunity to
generate interest in their meetings and to send stuff home with our
members.
I'm sure Dave has a cut off date, but I'll let him communicate that.
Obviously, the sooner the better.
Thanks and Regards,
Robert
