Regrettably I have been notified of another death close to the family
... Louis Ojeda's father. Louie's father had recently experienced
serious medical problems (that were a source of concern) but his
condition was apparently improving until last evening. Dot's note below
provides some of the details.
Louie and Dot are well known and respected throughout USPS through
Louie's various roles on numerous committees and as an aide to a number
of recent C/C's. Please keep Louie, Dot, and their extended family in
your thoughts and prayers.
By this note I am requesting that Les, Creighton, Frank, each Department
Chair, and each Committee Chair distribute this information through
their respective listservs. Please accept my appreciation in advance
for your assistance with this important communication.

Subject: Louie's Dad
Just wanted to let you guys know that Louie's Dad passed away last night
at 7:35 with a massive heart attack. He was able to come to our home
from the hospital on Wednesday but on Friday morning he was taken to the
VA Hospital in San Juan by ambulance. He actually seemed better
yesterday afternoon. We left about 4 pm he was alert and laughing with
us. The hospital called about 8:30 and asked us to return asap. They
informed us that 7 doctors worked on him but never could get any response.
Viewing will be tomorrow with the service on Wednesday morning at 11:00
am. Louie is doing as well as can be expected but this has been a very
rough 2 weeks mentally and physically. All arrangements have been made
and I hope I can get him to rest some this afternoon. I will leave it
up to you guys on whom you think in USPS needs to be told. Thanks for
your thoughts and prayers.

style="font-size: 12pt;">Just wanted to let you guys know that Louie's
Dad passed away last
night at 7:35 with a massive heart attack. He was able to come to our
home from
the hospital on Wednesday but on Friday morning he was taken to the VA
Hospital
in San Juan by ambulance. He actually seemed better yesterday
afternoon. We
left about 4 pm he was alert and laughing with us. The hospital called
about
8:30 and asked us to return asap.<span style="">
</span>They informed us that 7 doctors worked on him but never could
get any response.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><font size="3" color="black" face="Courier New"><span
style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><font size="3" face="Courier New"><span
style="font-size: 12pt;">Viewing will be tomorrow with the service on
Wednesday morning at 11:00
am.<span style=""> </span>Louie is doing as well as can
be expected but this has been a very rough 2 weeks mentally and
physically. All
arrangements have been made and I hope I can get him to rest some this
afternoon.<span style=""> </span>I will leave it up to
you guys on whom you think in USPS needs to be told. <span style=""> </span>Thanks
for your thoughts and prayers. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
