[StPete] September Boating Event

I just found out today that Treasure Island Yacht & Tennis Club  will be 
demolishing their old building by the end of this month.  I was  informed that the 
pool area and tiki bar will be  closed.  Considering the fact that there is 
no shaded areas to  get out of the heat, no real gathering place and nothing 
within walking  distance, I believe it is in our best interest to find another  
location.  I am working on possibilities.   

Several locations I originally contacted were booked for the  weekend of 
September 7-9 (Clearwater Yacht Club is one place that comes to  mind).  So a 
second option would be to hold the event the following  weekend, September 14-16.  
I would appreciate input from those  interested in participating in the 
boating event regarding the  possible change of date.
 
Also, if any of you have privileges at Pasadena Yacht & Tennis  Club, please 
contact me.
