We have received a challenge! 
             George Martin, the Commander of the Tampa Power Squadron has challenged your Commander in a boat race on September 15th at their annual Cardboard Boat Race.
      I certainly need all the help that I can get - your support would be most appreciated!  P/D/C Ken Beckman has built an outstanding cardboard boat for me to use - and your cheers will be needed to help me!  Contact Ken if you are interested in building your own boat.

Here are the particulars:
       The Tampa Power Squadron Picnic & Cardboard Boat Challenge
                                            September 15, 2007
 

Location:  Picnic Island Park: 7680 Picnic Island Blvd, Tampa

          (Follow the signs South on Westshore from Gandy)

 

1200          -        Picnic with all the goodies - $5.00 per person, bring         

                                      a dish to share

 

1400          -        Racing begins! 



Reservations needed by September 7th - please let me know by August 30 (as we leave for National Governing Board on Sept 1st)  or contact Tim or Julie Bombay @ 727-743-6610 directly by September 7th.
