Sorry to pass this on - Martha (and Jack) attended many of our functions and Martha helped coordinate many of the cruises for SPSPS.  I will pass along updates as soon as I get them.

I just received word from Cathy Wallin that Martha Bier passed away.  As you may know, she and Jack were on a river barge cruise.  Evidently she sat down to supper yesterday and suffered a massive heart attack.  It happened almost instantly.
Jack is expected back tomorrow.

I know how shocked and saddened we all feel.  

As we get more details I'll pass them on to you.
