[StPete] Bradenton weekend

Last change to join the Hofmanns, Rudy Turner, the Beckoffs, Wilma Fowler,
the Albrechts and the Krupas to come by iron dinghy to Bradenton this
weekend.  Join us for some of the days or drive down for both of the days.
Let me know when you are arriving.  It is a 40 - 60 minute drive depending
the traffic.  I'll send out instructions with the next email.  See you
there!  

 

Things you might want to consider bringing for the weekend.

            Digital Camera for the Scavenger Hunt 

            Flashlight - Daylight Savings is gone and it was dark by a
little after 1800 the other night

            Sweatshirt as it gets chilly at night

 

 

Friday 9 Nov 2007  

 

     Festivities begin at 1700.

 

   1700 - Crunch and Munch  - (Appetizers and BYOB) at the Club House 

   1800 -  Dinner - there are several good places to eat around the Marina
or you can ride the Trolley to the Shopping Center by the Walgreens for more
good eating places or just eat aboard  your boat.   

   ????    Some of us will walk to a nearby ice cream parlor            

After dinner games will be in the club house until ??????.  

 

 

Saturday 10 Nov 2007

 

   Morning - on your own 

Before you leave for the morning, please form groups of four for the
scavenger hunt.  Connie or Ken will be at the clubhouse to give you your
start times.  

Take a trolley ride to the northern end of the island, walk the beach, it is
very important that you be at the Clubhouse by your start time for the
Trolley Scavenger Hunt.  It is a timed event.

   13?? - Trolley Scavenger Hunt instructions received from Connie and Ken. 

   1630    Return to the Club House with your Trolley Scavenger Hunt answers
if you have not already done so.  

   1700 - BYOB at the Club house

   1735 - Walk to the Restaurant for dinner   (Cost of Dinner is between
$18.00 and $25.00, gratuity of 15% will be added to the cost of dinner.
Drinks are extra).  We ate there Tuesday night and found the food and
service to be excellent.  

  ???? -    Return to the club house for prizes and rest of the weekend's
events.
