[StPete] 2007 Golf Tourney

This is to give you and advance notice of our annual par three golf  tourney. 
There will be an announcement at the general meeting and the pot luck  
dinner. I will be back sometime in October, I do not know exactly when as I  have a 
medical problem that has to be addressed. I would appreciate it if  you are 
interested if you would let P/C Jos Hofmann know. 
ATTENTION ALL GOLFERS: 
The seventh annual Power Squadron golf tourney will be held on Saturday,  3 
November 2007. commencing at 1000 hours. We have four tee times reserved for  
sixteen golfers, if there are more we will be able to handle  them. 
The venue will be the same;  Cypress Creek par three located at Mangrove Bay 
golf course. The rates will be $7.49  walking, $9.90 with pull cart and $11.77 
riding. The rules are unchanged in that  there are no hard and fast rules to 
accommodate any of our neophyte golfers.  Each golfer will record their own 
score and winners will be determined by a  blind draw at the conclusion of the 
tournament.  In addition, there will be prizes for  closest to the pin on one 
shot, closest to the pin in any number of shots from  off the green and longest 
putt made on a specific hole. There will be a $2.00  surcharge per golfer for 
prizes. I will be returning to Florida about 10 October  and I must know how 
many golfers there will be by 27 October. You may either  contact me by e-mail

tournament, we usually go as a group for  lunch.
