[StPete] Cooperative Charting Training Session

Hello to all USPS members
 
A training session has been set up for the evening of January 30th,  
Wednesday, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  This training session SPSPS  members a briefing 
on all of the various Coop Charting programs.  This will  include training for 
getting on various web sites for submitting reports,  gathering data, updating 
boating informational web sites.  The training  will take place at the Sail 
Center were most SPSPS training is held.
 
After attending this session new members should be able to start on  various 
programs within the Coop Charting area.  Some of the programs  that require 
more in-depth site surveys may still require further training and  possibly on 
the water sessions.  Many of our programs require the use of a  GPS so if you 
know the model number please bring that information to the  training.  If you 
have a laptop that you will be using for doing  reports you can bring it to the 
session so that you can load any  programs and web site addresses if we have 
enough time.

this training session.
