PARROTHEAD WEEKEND AT
CALADESI ISLAND
11 - 13 April 2008

 

Schedule of events
Friday, 11 April:  
*	For boaters arriving Friday-Five O'Clock Somewhere party/dinner at
the ParrotHead Pavilion (PHP)-south shelter.  Details regarding what to
bring forthcoming via email.
Saturday, 12 April:  
*	Breakfast/lunch on your own (excellent grill/concession stand
available on Caladesi for lunch)
1	Games/contests begin at 1300:
*	Ladderball, Crazy Golf, Shell I.D. contest, 'Lost Shaker of Salt'
hunt, & Grand Finale Kite Flying contest at the beach.  NOTE:  If you are
going to participate in the kite flying contest, please bring your own kite.
Prizes awarded for highest kite & most unique.
NOTE:  Iron dinghy attendees-please make sure you are at the Honeymoon
Island ferry dock by 1200-1215 in order to board the 1230 ferry.  Cost is
$9.00 per person for 4 hours on the Island.  
Contest prizes will be awarded at 1530 SHARP in the ParrotHead Pavilion
(PHP).
*	Boat Drinks Party/dinner begins at 1830 in the PHP.  More details
forthcoming via email. 

	IMPORTANT:  Please dress like a ParrotHead just in case Jimmy
Buffett himself flies in to give us our own private concert!!!
  
If you haven't signed up yet, do so right away for this popular event by
contacting Dawn Eckhart @ jdeck at earthlink.net or call (727) 864-6560 with
your arrival time, boat name, length, beam, and the FL registration number
of your boat.  Slips are $20/night including 1 30 amp hook up and water.
Bring an adapter to manage your 50 amp power to 30 or two 30's to a single
30 if necessary.  Florida residents 65 and over are $10/night.  Final
details will be via email.
